I hope this is the right forum for this but here it goes:

I downloaded the Fall of Rome v2.1 into a seperate folder and copied all of its information into to MTW folder, like I did for the STW mod which then worked for STW, when I loaded the game everything except for the viking invasion campaign was gone.... everything from the regular MTW was gone

I dont where to get other files for this or maybe I have to go WAY back in the fall of rome files to get it to work but I just dont know

any advice would be great

and yea I did try to follow the directions in the thread about fall of rome but that didnt work out for me unless I missed something so I'll try it again

nope trying it again didnt do anything either

All.

Please read the install instructions for Fall of Rome 2.0 and install it in a fresh MTW-VI installation, after this read the install instruction of Fall of Rome 2.1 and install it, in the same MTW-VI folder. This should work.

the install readme files are in the .zip files you have downloaded.

cheers

Max

To install Fall of Rome 2.0-- the instruction file is called Fall_of_Rome_20.txt and it's hiding inside the zip called
Fall_of_Rome_20_MAIN.zip

When you install these files, be careful when using Winzip. Be certain that "use folder names" is on. The instructions omit this (critical) point.

To install Fall of Rome 2.1-- the instruction file is FALL OF ROME 2.1-README.txt

This file tells you to "copy" files but it means "unzip" the files. "Use folder names" should not be used when you install 2.1
