Which mods dont need a "fresh install"

Which mods can I download and they just go into my current installation of MTW or do all need fresh installs? I want to try a few but having 4 mtw installations doesnt float my boat or make my clock tick lol http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-wall.gif

I believe the Reconquisita mod doesn't require a seperate install. It is quite a large and complete mod. It even gets played online.

However while it doesn't interfere with your current installation you cannot install another mod on top of it.

There are others which only give an alternative campaign or such, but I don't know if that floats your boat http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-wink.gif

hehe thanks I'm most interested in

BKB's and the Shogun Mod but I belive both require a fresh install. Though I could delete my old Shogun in favor of this one, sorta tit for tat.
