Is it possible to add a new gamemap without overwriting the old one and without adding all the folders that viking invation has (battlemaps, flags, all ingame pitures). All of those extra files makes the mod 150 MB extra in size
It could be nice only adding one folder in the textures folder (say a XL folder with the new map).

That is new for me For the Two Crowns mod we have 30 MB of extra files en 25 MB of that consists of portraits that you can reduce to only 3 MB or so if you delete all portraits except the first one.
150MB?? What are you copying then?

I was thinking of all the battlemaps, portraits and stuff (all the folders that VI has, the Vikings folders). Maybe I just need to take another look. My mod will allso include music files, so it's very big. People don't like overwrite mods, so I hope to make it an addon.

Follow 2.2 in the Chapther 2: Campaign (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=26;t=17768) of the Repository guides.

You certainly don't need the music files.

Good luck, Duke John

Great stuff, I overlooked that page. The music I was talking about was my own music, so I need to add it http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
I was looking for a program or something to automatic Copy/Paste the files/folders like descibed on the page you gave me. Then I can keep all the portraits and stuff..

Thanks for the help
