Whenever i play a new faction in a campaign, like for example the cumans, and i invade someplace a message says it couldn't load the texture prebattle shield something and then my game crashes. I look in the texture/campmap/prebatshields file and the prebatlle shields are there. What gives? It worked in the super early version? Why not now? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-wall.gif Metal http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-wall.gif
So all the prebatsheilds from Fn1001 to fn1030 are there? If they are not, just copy them.
The prebattle shields were mistakenly left out of superhigh.
Either create some dummy ones yourself or get the folder from super early or the custom map.

What all does the BKB Supermod entail? Is new units, improved AI, etc? Or is it all new, like Napoleonic TW?

Check out the first page of my Super Mod thread. I'm sure you'll enjoy the mod - its an auto-install so the only real problem is the big download (183MB). Is it worth it? Well, you'll have to decide

To answer your question....I'd say somewhere in between. While basically a souped-up version of the current game it does feature brand new units (with new graphics) and new maps, therefore making it more than a mere tinkering of the game.

Wow Sounds impressive. I must admit I've read a lot of your posts in the Monastery and have great admiration for you. You really know your stuff. I would download this just because your name is on it. Unfortunately, I'm stuck on 56k for 2 more weeks. Therefore, I'm going to have download it and give it a whirl then. Cheers
