Heros

I've been reading things here and there and I saw mention of a list of hero's, when you can get them, and what unit you should train to get them. Unfortunatly I can't find it anywhere, I tried the search thing, I scrounged the table of contents, and I looked on google and all the game sites with FAQs... I couldn't find anything... could someone post a link or something for me?

I probably should have mentioned that I am talking about medieval total war.
