How do you change Avatar

I was recently promoted to member and can't figure out how to change my avatar. I've changed the skin to custom avatar, but I can't find the selection of Avatars. Thanks in advance. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-blush.gif

Once you've posted 500 posts you'll gain the ability to choose an avatar. I've recently seen some posters with fewer posts have custom avatars but I suspect they got those with some help from the moderators.

Or do you mean custom as in some picture that you upload somewhere and link it to the avatar, not the one that the .org lets you to choose?

though i don`t have 500 posts yet, i`ve been here longer than four months and as far as options go, i`ve got sod all so far.

iv`e got it switched to the custom avatar setting and i still have nothing but the option of getting one from a .url, which is pointless as i don`t have one.

(where`s the smiley for being severly pissed off when you actually need it).
