religions...

[Seven.the.Hun]

was curious about anyone who has added new factions to VI or edited existing ones...
has anyone made factions that operate for the obscure religions in the game,
the Pagans, the Heretics, the Jews???
i've done pagans before, i'm kinda wondering about those Heretics and Jews...think i might give it a go soon...
anyone else tried/succeeded?

I plan to make the Khazars Jewish in my Eastern Promise mod, and if I do Moravia I may make the Bohemians Hussite faction Heretic. I'm sure it'll be okay. I'm hoping I can add more as well (Hindu, Christianity).

I asked the same question once and I was told that you couldn't add any religions,just change names of exiting ones. To bad, hey

Wouldn't heretic to Hussite be more appropiate?

On a little side-note, a second pope emerging in Avignon/Provence and splitting catholic allegiances would be awesome. Wouldn't know how incorporate that in a mod, though...

Hey man, what d'ya mean?
There are already three christian factions in the game(Catholic (which is me- yay), orthodox, and heretics (boo))
Heretics would surely cover any christians who were not Holy Catholics or orthodox?

Hussite probably would be more appropiate. But the majority of europe at the time would have summed them up as Heretics.

The chritianity was mainly for some of the african factions who weren't catholic or orthodox in my eastern promise mod.

hey i suppose that's a good point, but the african christian dudes would probably have called themselves orthodox anyway i think, (for that though you would need a history book, not a theologian)
