Burgundians??

I am just starting to learn how to mod my game, I have just about finished adding my first new faction( thank's to Starkhorn's guide http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif ) and as I am changing/adding things I am noticing that under some catagories, esp. when I am using Gnome editor, the Burgundians are listed as a faction. Were the Burgundians supposed to be in the game, but cut before the shipping of VI(or M:TW), or did CA put that there on purpose, like the Dutch Forenames and Surnames in the DEFAULT_HEROES.txt?

they appear some time in late like the swiss if the loyalty isn't very high in burgundy

don't count on it; I had the loyalty drop under 70% for around 30 years after 1390, and all I got was peasants.

I can honestly say I've never seen the Burgundians in my games - I have even tried the reducing Burgundy to minimal loyalty trick, to no avail. Are you sure of this? They seem more like a hidden faction to me, as I've not seen any other evidence of their existance other than a few FN_Burgundian lines in the unit info file.

I've only seen them emerge once. Perhapes you need to have Burgundy owned by the AI HRE, between 100 and 120 loyalty and a moon that is 2/5th full.

I have seen The Burgundians emerge once, that was directly after that France(or possibly HRE) had suffered from a civil war. Think that can have something to do whit it.

Turn the place into a rebel held province first and they _may_ appear. I have seen the Swiss appear that way.
