How do I make Ireland playable?

I don't want to make some big mod project I was hoping they could be made playable in the early period easily.

It's a bit complicated, and you will need to do quite a bit of modding. So unless you want to put a bit of effort in, you can either stick to not playing them or download a mod from the Engineers guild which has them in.

If you would like to add Ireland as a faction, or playable faction.
You must do several things, One add a faction to the playable list in MTW IV.
As it's certainly not possible with any of the earlier versions.
Or the easier way, but certianly not easy. Convert a faction.

I would recommend the later, convert a faction.
Take say Burgundy, change it over to Ireland, and put it in the game. HOWEVER, this requires some considerable knowledge as to modding the factions in the first place.

or as tomborn says, see if someone has alread done it, and download it.

If you've got VI then I recommend Kekvit mod. It ads Scotland and Ireland as playable factions and makes a few mercenary units trainable and a couple of other tweaks.

BKB's supermod also features a playable Ireland in early, as well as making some more drastic changes. However, if you want to keep the rest of the game relatively similar kevkit mod is better i suppose

Kekvit mod has switzerland in all ages and the golden hoard in late too.
