How do I remove a title?

Every time I start playing this game again, I can never remember how to do that. It drives me mad

TO clarify - How do I stop the current noble being the prince of scotland, and make someone else the prince instead?

5 options I know:

1 - Drag emissary over him to strip his title.
2 - Disband the unit
3 - Assassinate him
4 - Try him with an inquisitor
5 - Get him killed in battle

- if he is low loyalty (say 3 or less) you can drop a spy on him to try to frame him for treason

Note that any "solution" other than 1-Drag emissary over him to strip his title will eliminate the unit leader, so (1) is better if you want to keep the unit (but be careful as his loyalty will drop)

it's not that bad as the loyalty usually only goes back to pre-title level and not actually less than that.

besides, I often keep important govs in a stack wth my king.
