Another time to vote for units, mates We've got Scythian Noblewomen, Macedonian Cavalry, and Roman Cav. Since we've seen the Macedonians, and the Roman's cavalry SUCK, I went with the noble women.

Yup, and the Sarmatians. They dressed up like the men, and were well know for their horse archery and lassoing skils. Of course, judging by the rest, we'll have a half nekkid Xena the warrior princess, but they did fight sometimes. In fact, the women's burial were often far more richer than the men's, and sometimess included weapons.

It's rather a beautiful legend then truth. Caused by rumors that Herodotus wrote down in his book. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-book2.gif
But I like the idea about "Naked Scythian Noblewomen Fanatics". http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-clown.gif

Moroz, I think you are reading too much into the name... I haven't seen any "naked" anywhere http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif
But the truth is that this is just another fantasy unit from the CA Frankestein's Workshop of the Absurd. Herodotus carried that legend, fueled by the Amazon tradition as well, and we all know that any game containing Amazon units if most likely pure fantasy.
Well, so much is true about RTW. Pure fantasy.
Oh, whatever, I am tired of bitching. This post was initially only a "GAH" but I thought I should elaborate a bit.
P.S. They could model the Skyth broads after Ruslana, the "Xena, Dancing Princes" Eurovision song contest winner The Ukrainian seem to feel quite good to name themselves "offspring of the Skythians" so it's just fair http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
WTF am I talking about? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

Voted of course for the Scythic Cav http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
All in all I think that this one of the better "creative" units. Creative because we don`t know if they really fought, even if the weapons in female graves, the tradition of female archery competitions in nomadic cultures and Herodotus point to toward it. But in this case the phrase "in dubio pro CA" http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif applies...
Hopefully CA is consequent in it`s barbarian bare chest policy http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-clown.gif
Cheers
