build reqs for kensai and naginata cav

title says all. anyone remember the build reqs for those?

It's the "Legendary Sword Dojo" which itself needs a "Citadel" for Kensai and "Famous Horse Dojo" for Naginata Cavalry.

Actually as far as I remember armory ain't needed for Naginata Cav, because I remember training Nag Cavs in Kai..

The takeda 1550 campaign starts you with an armory in Kai.

Naginata cav requires:
Armory and famous horse dojo, which itself requires fortress.

Armory, isn't that only needed for heavy cav and regular naginata? I know I've been training naginata cav in non-iron provinces. They might need a weaponsmith though.

Only played un-patched MI though.

Nag cav do not require armoury at all. They are a form of "poor man's HC". The Shimazu regularly trains NC out of Satsuma. I believe CA created them to aid the clans who do not have access to iron-sands.

I've started to play STW WE again after a long LONG break and I was wondering why you can't build Ashi Crossbows in the Sengoku Jidai period and was wondering if that also applies to Naginata Cavalry (haven't played that long yet). Is that hardcoded (buidling requirements)?

You can build nag cav in sengoku jidai. You can't build ashi crossbows because they are not correct for the period.
