Yeah, it's going to be an amazing game! This is true.

But the Middle Ages in Europe... boring. Very banal.

Yeah, I'm going to get it, but I sure do love my Shoggy.

now if they had the cruaders invading japan...
*sigh*

well if the mongols could be everywhere from korea to greece, why not a similarly motivated mediavel European army?

or conversely, why not the Samurai invading europe?

Glad to see people agree! I hope they don't shut the Shogun servers down. Well I suppose it doesn't matter if they do since I can't register STW/WE to play online anyway..

Shogun isn't just a game. It's art, as well! It is the deepest, most... cultured game I've ever played! I wonder how well this will show in MTW.

I love the idea of Crusaders invading Japan or Samurai invading Asia and then Europe! That would be a fantastic gaming experience!

I'm being cautious. I remember being slated when I posted a pre-release review of MI that only gave it a % in the 80s... Well really does MI deserve a 90s%? I hope MTW is good, but I am prepared for an anti-climax.

Development time is insufficient for anything revolutionary. I will be in Nepal for a few months from September so I'm deliberately not getting very excited. Everything I've seen of the game suggests "we'd have liked to put this in Shoggy but didn't have the time/money"- Looking in the .loc files for Shogun there's lots of stuff which never got implemented- e.g the father visitor

Well.... I do not see any glory in feuding japs, killin each other and stuff... don't see how europeans could be any more boring

I am not really looking forward to MTW now, I first want to see how it develops online.

Sure i will buy it for SP straight away, since it will be a new game, but I am not sure its not going to be just "another new game", I hope it won't.

i suppouse medieval wil lbe a popular game , but its only so cause its the new improved version of shogun....i sound alot like my parents saying pop music has went downhill since there day but 1) i find feudal europe kinda a bore 2)it really is just shogun set in a new place and time, and 3)the units, weapons and stuff are jsut more interesting anf fun to use in shogun, i mean you dont get to kill of a "thorn in your paw" general with a ninja when he starts to really tick you off, i mean what you going to do?, send a peasant with a pitchfork to storm his stronghold and prod the guy in his sleep?, hehe, well anyway MTW will probably be popular for a while....like passing pop bands, but when someone mentions best strategy game...everyone will say shogun
