Hi,
after playing HTW and thinking about game license possibilities of the Troy movie, it struck me that there were no officialy licensed games announced yet.
Of course there are some games that jumped on the Troy bandwagon.
Some like Gates of Troy looking good, others like Schlacht um Troja looking not so good
but still no game with the power of the movie license behind it.

Then it struck me that there is a game about ancient heros duking it out on battlefields full of warriors, that would fit spot on with Troy.
I am talking about the Dynasty Warriors (http://www.koei.com/games/dynasty.cfm) series of Koei here of course.

Another game with a similar concept coming up is
Kingdom Under Fire 2 (http://www.kuftc.com/)

So please let some gaming company do a game with all the Illads heroes duking it out on vast battlefields slaying humongous amounts of standard warriors while riding around on chariots or running around on foot.
Instead of the magic in Dynasty they could even use favours of the gods or divine interventions http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

You mean a dynasty warriors like game with the Troy license?

Hmmm playing Achilles and Agememnon,Ajax,Hektor..etc wasting trojans,or playing as the trojans and wasting the greeks, add some playable female charecters for more appeal and you got a winnermaybe...

Anyways, seeing as how popular the 1 man against army beat-em-up/Action hybrid genre,it would'nt be long until clones start taking shelf space on the market.I have to say though,i have been keeping an eye on KUFTC for a while, since i liked the original, although it was infleunced alot by star craft and diablo,it was still cool.

EDIT:gah replaced craft with trek instead http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif corrected now.

Thats the think I wondered about.
First KUFC is the only game that takes up the winning formular that has been doing well in Dynasty warriors for quite some time.
And as nowadays each semi succesful movie gets his game (and sometimes the game is even developed while the film is shot) I find it very strange that a high profile blockbuster movie like Troy has no gaming license anounced.

And just imagine a 3D Brad Pitt on a Chariot mowing down Polytrojans.
The Dynasty formular with some unit tactics and high profile heros could realy catch the feel of both the movie and homers writings.
