MM basque infantry

this should probably be over in the alchemists lab, but whatever.

just a few questions about MM building reqs.
A) what does it require to train Basque infantry?
B) is there something i am just not getting, or is the MM unit prod files non compatible with gnome editor? i am trying to access the prod file to find out building reqs and such, but gnome bitches about opening the txt. file.

building requirement is a Spearmakers Guild. iirc they are restricted to High & Late era's.

hmm this happened in BKB's mod as well he added an extra (") where it wasnt needed. Try opening up the file with notepad and search for (" ") and see what happens. If something pops up delete on of the (")

yea, although i also notice, the crusader unit prod is TXT, while MM is txt, i dont think it would make a difference, but it might. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-anxious.gif

Its the header of the MM_UNIT_PROD and MM_BUILD_PROD that is causing the problem and can be easily fixed.

Open the CRUSADER_UNIT_PROD file, highlight and copy everything down to where it says DATA START.

Now open the MM_UNIT_PROD and paste it over the header info there down to DATA START.

That should fix the formatting problems in Gnome. Do the same for the BUILD_PROD files.

As for the Basque Intantry they require a Spearmakers Guild and are only available in Castile, Leon, Aragon, Navarre, Aquitaine, Toulouse, the same provinces as the Asturian Foot.
