I am one that loves the occasionally huge 16 unit+ battle(s) but for the most part like em 16 units and under. To do this I have to edit the cost of troops, making it harder for factions to buy/train/support them.

I originally added a '0' to all the units cost. This worked well except I would be attacked by say the Germans with 13 units of peasents, 2 archers and their king while I have 8 elite units.

How could I up the troop cost but make them want to save for the more powerful units? Doubling all the unit prices?

the AI will still build junk troops.

best treatment is like medmod where you tie low priority to junk troops' build reqs and maybe up their costs too
