Hello everybody

I would just like to know how you can take screenshots of MTW.Also, where would the shots be saved to? I tried the print screen key, but it didn't seem to work. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif

Welcome to the Guild, fatscaryguy http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wave.gif

Press F2 anytime to take a screenshot. It will be stored as a TGA image under the \TGAs subdirectory of your MTW folder.

you may need a view like IrFanView to actually see the TGAs though.

Also, f5,f6, and f7 will remove the interface bars from the battle screen making for nicer screenshots.

For the best screenshots, take off all icon bars, pump up the resoltion, and stick the game on widescreen. Nowadays I spend more time tring to take badass screenshots than actually trying to beat the enemy.

In addition to all the above,

if you hit Printscreen you can task-switch to any graphics program you have (Paint, Paint Shop Pro) and paste it in there (control-V or /edit /paste). Then save it wherever you want, in whatever format you want.
