Problems with purbgrab

Hello,

I downloaded CA bif/buf utils because I need purbgrab to make bifs for campmap/infopics. But I can't extract purpgrab.exe (or the other .exes) with Winrar. I get only the nice purpgrab-smiley with 101 kB, not the whole programm with 100000 kB. Is purbgrab only for Win98? I use Win XP. Or what else is wrong?

Can I use another programm to convert tga-files to bif-files which can be used in MTW?

Purpgrab.exe Works on WinXP – that’s for sure. Probably archive you downloaded is broken. You may try alternative source at: http://www.mizus.com/Tools/Files/ (http://www.mizus.com/Tools/Files/)

Or you may try Dragon MTW Editor (http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=5;t=19592;st=0), there is picture viewer/converter built in.
