That's the funny part, withdrew all my other armies to make the AI attack me except for the 7 kensai, wish all my troops fought like that http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif.

anyway, something really sucky about Kensai :
When you withdraw them from battle they losee something like 5 honour...I had beefed up all of my kensai, they had all gained ranging from 4 to 7 honour in an easy battle, then they got completely exhausted (killed about 1000 men ,but there were another 1800 coming) so I decided to withdraw them ,then when I checked back they all had 0,1 or 2 honour http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/frown.gif http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/frown.gif http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/frown.gif ,this sucks bad http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/frown.gif.

You should have kept the ninjas around. Kensai + BN is a lethal combination against AI.

Is there not some sort of Kensai bug which means that they have one honour rating in battle, but a much lower one on the strat map. you might be suffering from that.

I had to withdraw them to make the AI attack me...I had set up all of the Kensai in the forest to protect them from arrows a bit and give 'em an advantage vs the enemy HC&NC....

wavesword they had a good excuse for not eating them they dont like weetabix so we can excuse them but its there fault there dead should have eating them like every1 else does
