Welcome to the Org, EX_Outlaw.

Meanwhile, if you put your proposed post here (in this thread you started), we'll copy it over to the Barracks for you.

@EX_Outlaw

That *almost* counts as triple posting... https://forums.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif Smart way of boosting your post count. https://forums.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif

I have been here for a few weeks and posting quite a bit but still a Junior. Hell, if I pull over my post count for the .com, I would have probably turned into a member.

Anyway, the mods are shuffling around and are getting things in order. Guess the promotions would take some time.

Inyuyasha spams that much? I got promoted on, like, the second or third day (I can't remember). Anyhow, I thought it occured pretty quickly compared to promotions you get on other sites. Be happy the mods are good and they have a fairly small community to work with.

I'm hoping to get promoted on my.. 6th month here. https://forums.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/frown.gif
Sounds like you have to get seen in MP to get promoted, judging by earlier comments...

No, you don't need to be in MP to get promoted. We just shuffled mods here in the EH and they are trying to get themselves organized for promotions.

In the beginning of the promotion system (November 2002) we used to put out promotions every 2-3 days. In the past 10 months, the promotions have been more like once a week. That is the norm. Please give the mods a little more time to get themselves organized. There is nothing you are doing wrong on your end, it is just a procedural problem on our end. Once they get the process going again, it should run smoother.

Red tape attack? https://forums.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif
Thanks for the clarification, Gregoshi. Much appreciated.
Just a matter of posting, posting, posting now, I guess. https://forums.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-smile.gif

Come on folks, stop torturing the Junior Patrons with your I was promoted in x days... stories. Have some pity on them https://forums.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif

Besides, the number of days isn't a good measure as often it is a matter of timing - someone joins a few hours before we put out the list vs someone who joins just after we put out a once a week list. The record for fastest promotion was with one post - but it was a beautifully constructed post with an in depth discussion on the topic. It was one of those you read and go wow when you are done. Alas, I can't tell you who that was or what the post was about - I lost my records and the darn search function is disabled.
