i find the most important point is when saying Merci Beaucoup thank you alot, make sure you dont say: merci Beau cul - thank you beautiful (3 letter slang word for buttocks)

What do you want to learn? Vocabulary? Grammar? Or sentence construction?

I assume this is written french you speak about, as oral would be impossible to teach you through the net.

You could get a french childrens book and a dictionary, but french is a very complex language and it will not be sufficient, especially the grammar can be a pain. Only way to learn it is to pick up the basics (like some simple words and sentence structure) then go and work there for a few months. Even if you think you have learnt it fluently without going there you will find that you can't really follow what's going on unless you have a while to aclimatise to it.

The spanish word realizar actually means something is becoming comepleted. Watch out for false cognates they will trip you up.
