I read somewhere (and I recall it was from an official CA/EA release) that the 1.13 patch has been delayed for release concurrently with the "expansion".

Uhh... They've delayed the patch six months? This same patch they originally promised to release last month? Sorry, but I find that a bit hard to believe. The Shôgun's post about Warlord Edition / regular STW compatibility did contain a reference to patch 1.13, but AFAIK they intend to release another patch later, not delay 1.13's release to incorporate a feature we won't be needing for months.

I believe that what will actually happen is this:

Patch 1.13 will be the last patch before the expansion. It will include all of the features that have been talked about so far (Hojo Horde fix, honour display in-game etc.) and should hopefully be released fairly soon.

Around the time that the expansion is released, an update to patch 1.13 will be released, allowing people to play against those who have the expansion pack.

The Shogun posted this in response to a question from Erado-San (you can read the whole thread here (http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000309.html)).
