It works if you close the flash site and re-open it again, it took me a couple of times before it worked completly.

Has anyone been looking at the Province Map (http://www.totalwar.com/community/provmap.htm). You can right click on the map and zoom in to see all the cities.

Ok I managed to get into most of it. Theres still a bit I can't see though. But I found it helps if you right click and change your Quality setting to Low, then just wait and let the page load. Then change it back to High, and it changes right away. This helped me get into a few of the pages.

I was able to see all the short clips under factions now and there are three things (except for the armored camels) that I do find strange.
1. Why does CA use clips where friendly fire is shown??
In some older clips we saw onagers happily break down waal sections were the legionairs were fighting, we saw burning pigs flame there own masters, and now in two of the faction clips (Julii and Parthia) we cann clearly see what happens when you let you elephants run through (or over) your own men.
2. The Germans are a bit heavy on (ahistorical) axemen. Even their fighting/screaming women use a battleaxe. If they did this to distinguish them from the swordwielding Gauls and Brittons, they should have better given them all spears, because thats what they used historicaly. But with a double axe as a faction insignia who expected otherwise. (The double axe CA used is an ancient Minoan Sign by the way)
3. In the Egyptian clip you can clearly see an egytian soldier STAB a Spartan with his bronze axe. This could mean that CA has only one onehanded slashing weapons attack animation cycle, meaning all onehanded slashing weapons (swords/axes) will have the same animations. This will not only look odd when you see an axeman or maybe even a druid stab with the weapon, but could influence moddability.
If CA only used a limited animations for different armaments it could mean that all units with spear and shield use the onehanded underhand stabbing animation. From the movies it looks that way. Now if they also hardcoded the animations used by diffenernt units or armaments, this could mean that it will not be possible to creat an overhand stabbing hoplite without having all other spear units use this animation also.
This is of course all theory (and CA hasnt even said that modding animations will be possible), but Bioware did the same thing in NWN, and although some modders are now able to change the default combat animations, they are greatly hindered because of the lack of variety hardcoded in the game.

Oh and I just noticed that there is an AWSOME temple of ceres in the building descriptions
And that you can command Scythian war chariots (I hope this is a typo and means scythed war chariots)

I hope for it too. Because Scythians had no any war chariots. Nomads used war chariots in Bronze age (at least 700 years earlier the beginning of RTW).

CA would have done well to get the website up and working properly, with all the bugs ironed out, as well as well giving the TW community a chance to peruse it (so we aren't clogging it up with our frequent visits), before DB aired. My concern is that people who have never heard of the game before, will go to the new site, find it isn’t working properly, and decide it isn’t worth their time.

The faction flash vids and strategic map screenshots look great, I think the game will be awesome. I must admit though that the sight of egyptian pikemen, as well as chariots and armoured camels charging into spearmen like tanks was a little odd.
