Does anyone know if Decisive Battles is available in Canada? I have the History Channel, but I cannot find it listed. Does anyone know for sure? (*fingers crossed*)

Are you sure you have the History Channel, and not History TV? I thought I had the HC, only to discover that was not the case. History Channel is not available in Canada (according to the HC website).

Yep, History TV. There go my plans of seeing the new R:TW graphics at a decent size and quality.

Well I'm in Canada and I get History Channel (if I paid for it). Maybe it's because I live near the border - but then so do like 90% of Canada's population.

Anyway I heard a commercial on the local radio station today advertising it so I'm sure that we're able to watch it. I hope someone will record it and post it up. https://forums.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-2thumbsup.gif

call your digital cable provider and have them tell you to look it up on the menu for yourself https://forums.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif

I’ve got digital cable, and I am a stones throw from the border with the US, but no History Channel. I checked and even Express-Vu and Star Choice don’t carry it. As I stated above, it said on the History Channel’s website that the channel isn’t available in Canada. I would presume that they would be aware of which cable and satellite companies were distributing their channel.

Shamus have you ever tried public broadcast. When I grew up I lived out in the boonies and could get the history channel in the evening times. Apparently they spent the money to broadcast during primetime but I think they only were on cable for off peak times so if you hook up an antenna and see what you can recieve in the evening you might be able to intercept the radio waves coming across the border. I know its barbaric to use an antenna but if you really want to see it you can give it a try and hopefully this primitive way of watching tv will get you the history channel
