(8:05 am really, but they're in summer time over there at the moment)
current server status is....Down!

guys you can agree with Tera that i'm wasting my time,

OR

EA support get hundreds of email everyday

the more emails they get bitching about the server the higher the priority assigned to fixing it!

SO - if you want to play online at all this weekend, remember it's friday in the UK,
get your butts into gear and send off some emails.

It does appear that there is no real customer support for Shogun from CA/DT/EA. There is marketing. Those customer support addresses are just another marketing tool to make you think there is support for the game. We are going to see this same greedy process continued with MTW. Let's not bother these busy people so thay can get MTW out ASAP and pull the same marketing tricks on us again. Support contact info will be published with MTW, but, if you actually use it, you'll be told to stop bothering people.

i am not bothering creative,
just EA,
and EA have nothing to do with MTW,

so each time the server is down, and every six hours or so until it is back up i send EA an email...
costs me nothing but 20 second of time to do, and maybe the number of reports raises the priority level...

ya can all sit back and do nothing, and they'll never even realise it's down,
or you can get off your butt and make a fuss,

now Erado has contacted CA,
and he shouldn't have had to,

if everyone started pestering Electronic Arts as soon as the server shut down it would be back online pronto.

so don't start in on me about bothering CA,
it's EA we have to hassle,

and those overworked peeps on the help desk are PAID to deal with our email.
If they don't like it they should go work for a reputable company.
