I can't get into Shogun:TW multiplayer server!

Hi, I bought Shogun:TW about 2 years ago and since then I made it rott in a corner https://forums.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-zzz.gif. But last week or so, I started to play it again https://forums.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/medievalcheers.gif. However, What frustrates the most is that whenever I try to log on to EA multiplayer server to play STW multi, it only says logging on for 10 minutes and nothing sill happens. I have an EA account and my internet connection is cable, but the only message I get is logging on. Please help me https://forums.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/gc-help.gif

The online server for original STW has been shut down by EA. The Warlord / Mongol Invasion server is still up and working, although, some people with WinXP have trouble getting logged into it.

I've tried for a VERY long time to solve my hanging while saying logging on... problem, to no avail. If oyu check the Sword Dojo there are alot of things to try-one of them might work for you. They didn't for me. https://forums.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mecry.gif
