Too bad Rome didn't even encounter the Goths until the 3rd Century AD. Aren't they still in Sweden and around the Baltic during the game's timeframe?

To my knowledge which isnt perfect or anything...

The goths never...but in bad reserch where in sweden...according to modern sources and most everything I have read...however much the old swedish kings tried to re-write history...out of their fantacy...(I am swedish by the way...)

South/East Baltic would be my guess...

There's a heap of probs with the barbs. Seems they just haven't been given the same care as some of the other major factions.

Yup, we've got our hands full... And why does Carthage and Egypt get their own culture while the 'Easterners' and the 'Barbarians' get lumped?

The Chosen Swordsmen don't bother me.

Head Hurlers on the other hand.. also, I'd like to see a bit more of a varied barbarian faction.. different types of Warbands and such...
