Patch help

I downloaded the 2.01 patch, mainly to stop my king and generals from dying at the same age. However when I went to install it, not much happend. The name window came up, then dissapeared, and nothing. Has this happend to anyone else, any help would be apprectiated. Thanks.

Sorry, the Viking Invasion/Medieval window, not really sure what it is called. Just like when you start up the game the title window shows up before the game loads. When I click on the patch icon, a title window shows up, then nothing. I have the Viking disk in, and that starts to spin, but nothing seems to load. The version number still shows the 2.00 on the main menu as well.
