It sounds to me like you have .zip files associated with some music program instead of winzip. Double click "My Computer". Click the "View" pull down menu and select the last item which is "Folder Options". Click the "File Types" tab near the top of the control panel. Look for your music programs in the list. Click on each one an see what file type they are associated with. If you find one associated with the .zip extension, click "remove" to get rid of the association.

Get WinZip from www.winzip.com (http://www.winzip.com) and install it. That alone should fix the association problem, so you may not have to go through all that stuff I just said.

Thx Puzz, I will try that soon, I already have winzip so if I re-download will it have any affect on anything? thx again for the help/info...Thx Grizz but if this doesn't work, dont worry about it m8, I wouldn't want you to go through all that trouble, unless you really want to http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

I don't think it will hurt to reinstall winzip. You could uninstall it, and then reinstall. I know it sets up file associations during the install.
