Unknown Faction Specific...

i keep trying to add a new faction and make everything work...
things are good except for when ever i add the FN_FREE21 into either CRUSADER.UNIT or CRUSADER.BUILD, so i can declare a unit leader or make units or buildings available to new faction, i get those unknown this or that errors, depending on where the entry was...and this causes a crash before the game even loads at the start...

the problem pops up whenever FN_FREE21 has been added to either of those CRUSADER text files...cannot figure out why the game refuses to recognize new faction in these textfiles...
everything works midway through, where new faction loads and all is well and they have highland clansmen leading them, was wondering if anyone else had these problems???

Are there more then one startpos files that use those unit- & buildprod files?
The problem could be that you didn't add the new faction(s) to the other startpos files.
You have to put DeclareFaction:: "Factionname" in all startpos files that use the same unit- & buildprod files. The DeclareFaction:: lines are somewhere at the top when opening the startpos files.

That's if I remembered the solution to the problem correctly.

well, thanx, your solution solved the game load problem...
now i'm just starting over with it to make sure i dont miss anything cause i was still crashing when i was loading the campaign, onlyloaded half way, so i'll have to work over it all again,
