I call to arms all tactical geniuses and war-game addicts! We must change the face of Video-gaming in these sad, shoot-em up, click-fest, times. We must utterly destroy the senseless and inane emphasis on arcade-style games, and exhalt the superiority of battle-field tactical simulations.

WarGamers, UNITE!

err, ehem...Anyone got any ideas of how to do that?

I dont understand why there is not a strong and distinct Wargame market for videogames. Avalon Hill company made tactical boardgames for years.... I know that there are Napoleonic wargamers, and Civil War Wargamers, and WWII wargamers.... There are a lot of people out there who like to simulate battlefield tactics.

One thing that sucks about wargame boardgames or "box" games, is that the rules are often very complicated and battles take forever to resolve. Computers are perfect for relieving us of that burden, and yet....STW is the only REAL wargame out there?

It boggles the mind. Methinks there is some money to be had by supplying us w/ our Wargame fix...

hopefully Activision will catch on and start suppling us w/ Sauce, wholesale.

spears are longer then a man cous if a horse charges it would ba hard to spear them as to contral the spear u would have to hold close to the point but if it is twice the size of a man then u can still keep contral and get a horse at a distance

hmmm, do long spears really work that well against Marketing Directors?

Probably would....now that you mention it

i think that when taking out marketing directors, it is unwise to go for them directly. first we would need to cut off their supply lines http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif then, when they are cut off from their supplies, we can capitalize by controlling their channels of communication.

What exactally are you suggesting? Some of us get together and program a game or make a board wargame? Please explain because I don't understand what you mean.

First there was STW followed by MI Next's there will be MTW we are helping,
companies like EA to make war games, we already have battles from the past,
An online battles.

The graphics aren't very good, but they will get better
and more people will start playing and their will be less and less bugs,
the game of which you speak we are helping to develop.

And if that doesn't work we can always spear them
