Hellenic Total War Tutorial Problem

When I start the first HTW tutorial, Sicily, I get always get bounced out to my desktop. I did a fresh install of MTW, VI 2.01, and HTW beta 3.1 in that order. The game playes well except that I cannot access the tuorials...any advice please?

As far as I know, no mod has support for tutorials... At least, if anythings changed.
