Fellow total warriors,
I am trying to organize a different kind of play-by-mail (PBM) game where 2 teams of human players compete for GA points . I am looking for players willing to give it a try.

Here are the rules:
Players: 2 players (or 2 teams of 2-4 players each). I'll call them Player A and Player B

Settings: Play using MTW VI version 2.01, on Hard , Glorious achievement, Early

Objective: Be the player whose faction (or factions) have the most GA points at the end of the game

Turns: Player (or team) A starts by choosing a faction with a hard or moderate rating. Player A plays the game until 1110, when the first round of GA points are counted. Then they upload the game to the PBM filespace on the org. Player B downloads the save game and picks a different faction (using -ian cheat to switch factions). Player B plays it until the next GA points are counted (I believe it is 1135 or so). Then it is player A's turn again. They can pick their original faction, or a new faction not played by the other side. After playing till the next GA points are counted, they turn it over to player B. And so on and so forth until the game ends in 1453. Then the team that "owns" the faction with the most points wins.

Strategy: Teams have to be careful in picking which faction to play. They need to keep their faction(s) strong, but also prevent the other team's faction(s) from growing too powerful. You also have to be careful not to let an unused faction grow big , otherwise the other team can take it and use it on the next turn.

Cheating: Obviously it is easy for either team to cheat. So I call upon an honor code that :
-No cheats are allowed except .matteosartori.
-The -ian cheat is only allowed to switch the faction and then save the game and play in normal mode.
-Savegame before battles is only allowed in case of computer crash/freeze. No reloading to change outcome allowed (again, this depends on honor code) .
-Pause is allowed during battles since many players do not consider it a cheat (but it is a crutch).

That's it. Anyone wants to take the challenge and play?

Note to moderators: we can move this thread to the PBM sub-forum once the initial responses run out. I wanted it here to generate more interest.
