I am a casual gamer so I have never paid attention to this in the past.

The last game I came even close to getting this obsessed with was MOO3. Major letdown...

I am starting to see bunches of pre-order boxes showing up everywhere.

Is this common? I live in the midwest US and have never noticed this before. Is it common nowadays to have bunches of pre-order boxes sitting out before there is even an official release date from the developer yet?

Since I am completely obsessed I have also noticed that there are no minimum or recommended specs on the pre-order boxes. Is this common as well?

I've seen the ROME box and also noticed the lack of system specs. This pre-release empty box thing is becoming more common. Doom3 boxes have been around for a while here on the east coast.

Same with Grand Theft Auto; San Andreas. And that game isnt may not even be released her if asswipes like Joe Liebermann have thier way. So yes this kinda thing is pretty common.

I dont have to pre order, cuz I have a one up on everyone else in lexington, muhahahhaa. I work third shift at Meijer, so if Meijer doesnt have it I can go to Wal-Mart on my lunch break and pick it up at 3 in the morning on the release day, MUWAHAHAHAHa
