I was wondering if anybody knew of a place on the net with practice tests. I read all of my AR books and, now I'm getting ready to take the test (I should've tested after each book but, I'm stuck now.)
I can't seem to find a place to take practice test's and, my only other option seems to be taking notes ~:( If anybody knows a place that has AR tests (or other tests) for AP Language classes please share.
Thanks,
Billman

Hi mercian billman,
I'm curious, what's accelerated reading?
I would consider myself a fast and avid reader but have never heard of it before. You do know that the more reading practice you have, the lesser you actually read? The better you get, the more you just scan over the words and recognize them by their looks, rather than reading the single characters and putting them together.

Accelerated Reading is a High School reading program. I don't know how it got it's name but, the books you read have a certain point value depending on their size and, you have to read a certain number of books to achieve your points.

I remeber getting a gameboy once from AR. my strategy was to skim high point books and then take the tests since the AR tests weren't be that hard... you can usually get a fair amount of points even if you get 7/10 or 14/20.
Still I think this was some middle school AR. Maybe high school is different. I don't know, cause we don't have AR anymore at my high school.
Good luck on your AR tests!
