Excellent, September means I have time to get back into the groove of the college semester, and time to help my brother get his comp teched up so we can play each other online.

My apologies for bursting any bubbles but no official release date exists yet.

While a mid-September release is expected the delay, or lack, of a demo raises concerns over just how finished RTW really is.

Despite how good the latest screenshots from Version 0.8 look the behind-the-scenes engine may still need alot of work. Especially if the AI routines are not performing as expected.

Given the lack of official word with the expected release only a month away I expect that we will not see a demo until mid-September, with a game release mid-November.

However... I really hope I'm wrong.

I think Sir Robin is bang on. With no demo as yet and the game not yet gone gold, I expect a release date november to early december. just my opinion though

I will disagree and state - with no real foundation whatsoever except gut feel - that the demo will be available this Friday or next and the Gold annoucement will be made by the 20th as well. Thus ensuring that the game will hit the store shelves around Sept. 20th.

Why do I feel this way - because CA have had MORE than enough time on this one and that the "jack boot" embargo on information taking place over the last 2 weeks is no accident.

This is slighly off topic but wasn't there a time where Rome was scheduled to be out last December, think of all the time since.

Have looked through this months PC gaming mags, and no mention of RTW at all. Not one of them has even mentioned the possibility of offering the demo on next months coverdiscs, PC Zone has it listed in its release schedule for Q4 (oct to dec). So it looks like our nov/dec estimate is still pretty good.
