Dead bodies.... nowhere?

Hey guys, I have been adding new units to my mod and whatnot, and they've all functioned perfectly well in battles. However, when I fight these battles, I see no dead bodies. I know that there need to be entries in the deadpage coords.txt file, and let me assure you, they are all there. I've checked them over and over. Yet, there are no dead bodies showing up. Anybody out there got some help for me? Thanks in advance.

I don't know about mods, I've never tried them, but I sometimes experience this in my normal games playing the Viking Invasion. When I have a massive scale battle, with thousands of units on both sides, until both sides have been worn down somewhat, dead bodies just don't appear, but this probably has something to do with my computer's age and inability to run stuff well.

Actually, I'm having the same problem with round shielded spearmen, and all the units that VI added to MTW campaign. Slavs, all of them.
It seems they're not humans at all- when my janissary hits one with his halber in two, the damn creature just falls over and disappears.
I'm fighting ghosts here!

I heard a rumour about some mod fixing it, but I have no idea which would it be?

i remember reading some post i think it was in the shogun total war mod's thread hear is a quote of it. This is what Barocca said. Hope this helps.

there is a bug in medieval that forces the game to ONLY display corpses for units listed in the crusader_unit_prod file, (its way more complicated than that, too hard to explain in detail without access to my notes)
many viking units are listed in that file, some are not,
those that are not will not get corpses.'
