Cool Australia is currently number 2, no sign of New Zealand or Fiji yet.
I would like to have seen Greece get the first Gold... maybe they will get the last.
As long as I treat this like LoTRs and dispend my disbelief then I will enjoy this Olympics.

Correct ~D although technology is catching up on the internet.
Mind you I am in Taiwan, whose captial is Taipei and I live near Taichung.
Not only do they produce a lot of TVs here the Chinese character for Tai looks like a TV... The Tai character looks like a square box with antenna on top of it... so maybe I should get a TV.

My (unsolicited) advice: Don't do it, my friend. TV will only disappoint & infuriate you. :)
Over here, the NBC network 'won' exclusive broadcast rights to the Olympics. They cover very few events - concentrating on winning Americans, and 'fluff' pieces about US athletes. The Mexican network Telemundo is showing most of the futbol matches, without preference. The broadest coverage is on the 'net.
The BBC have pretty damn good coverage, they try and cover a lot of sports but tend to cover the British athletes a bit too much :/

I haven't been watching our official coverage but on the news at least, they had interviews with the mothers of our 400m womens relay team....

Is it just me or is NBC absolutely obsessing over Michael Phelps? I mean the guy's a great swimmer and all but there's no reason for all of their coverage to revolve around his performance, IMHO..
PS: Did anyone stay up late last night (1:30 AM) to watch Jimmy Pedro win the Bronze in Judo against that Frenchman Fernandez? It was kind of strange, I didn't think there would be that much grip fighting in a masters match...
