View Full Version : Ancient Archives up and better than ever!
After Totalrome.com (PlanetTotalWar.com) decided not to host Ancient Archives for free I decided to finally get my own web host and domain! The new domain is www.ancient-archives.com and to celebrate the re-opening I have finished the First Punic War campaign write-up. It's some pretty interesting stuff so go check it out now! :jumping:
TenjoMuneyoshi has finished his first write up about the Japanese battle Sekigahara. It is a pretty interesting battle, check it out here (http://www.ancient-archives.com/japan/sekigahara.htm)

Good news Scipio. The link to your site on our main page is broken due to the move. Would you mind dropping Tosa or barocca a note with the correct URL? Thanks.
thnx for the heads up, will get in contact with them. And Sjak, let me get back to you about your offer, it is very much appreciated ~:)
Yeah Sjak that would be great, would you be willing to do the other kawanakajimas? It would also be great if you could contribute on a different historic aspect other than Japanese as we already have a Japanese writer

Glad to see that you are back in business. Gotta go, I am on my way to check out the site.. ~D
P.S. DO you have a writer for the subject of Viking history and are you interested in having one? If so, how would that work?
We might well be interested, how we do is you do an enterance write-up (in the form of those you see on the website) of a battle. After that you should probobly be accepted unless you have terrible grammer and innacurate history ~;) Glad to see your interested ~:)

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you have the data for this site lost when we lost the LORE files? Impressive you managed to get it up and running again.
I had the AA files backed up before that but sadly not the LORE or TR files ~:(

Anyways we have managed to get the clan forums sorted and everything is getting back to normal...

My mother is from Cuba, Gibara ... on the NE side of the island. She lived there before the communist revolution.
We have not visited in awhile, but hopefully we will return one day to reclaim what was ours.
M8, the mojitos and daiquiris are calling ya, go to them! ~;)

What is the site address where I would send my submission? I want to start my entries with the Battle of Stamford Bridge. Very heroic stand by a lone Viking in that battle. Definetly one for the Sagas.. :knight:
Send the write ups in a text file to me via email.

Keep in mind, send them to Scipio AND myself, thanks ~:)
Lol Mune, but yeah he's right, I'm not the best proof reader so you send it to him so we can just double check and then I put it onto the site ~:)
Oh Scip !
Hi there, nice to see you around again. Well done with the new site. I will be saving that for future reference. Do you mind if we make a link to it on our (hopefully soon to be) mainsite ?
Hope all is well, mate.
Quid
Hey Quid, good to see ya too m8, that would be great if you could put a link on to your site. On another note, I have just finished labouring over another Roman Campaign Write Up that goes from Romes mythical beggining to the final consumption of Italy into the Roman Empire. It will probobly be up on the site on Tuesday or Wednesday as I am going partying tommorow to get the most out of my last 2 day school free ~:dizzy:
My m8 cancelled on me today so I was able to upload my newest write-up which you can find here (http://www.ancient-archives.com/beginningofrome.php)
