So you play the tutorial as the Julli faction then fight trebia as Carthage?

Do you think you will fight some small skirmishers and battles against the celts in the tutorial as the Julli?

The medieval demo had you fighting the Byzantines and Egyptians, so you never know! :saint:

Who's time zone are they going with for the 23rd? Because if it is a time zone ahead of mine, I am in luck. Since I work 3rd shift, and I have weekends off, I will be up all night Sunday and into Monday afternoon, meaning more time to play demo!!!!

Ditto. I think my Monday is going to be extremely sad indeed - I shall be sat in front of the PC all day refreshing the IGN page every minute until the demo is available, then I shall download and play it. A lot.

After ending up spending half a day trying to find a server that wasn't full when I was after the thief 3 demo I don't want to do that again with RTW. I need my Romans and I need them NOW! Patience is a froggy virtue, but only when there are no Romans involved :gring:

Can I arange with someone to burn the game and ship it to me Via Snail mail, I have a 56k thats out in the sticks, so it only goes about 20kbs, If someone can I'll ship you the money for the cd, work, mailing fees, As if this game works even on minimal settings, and zoomed out, on my system, Ill be happy.

Anyone In Canada want to give me a hand? :bow:

Wow ! I was alerted to this very positive news yesterday. I'm simply thrilled we will get a demo. ohhh and btw I probably won't bother too much to download it on Monday, as I would probably end up waiting forever. But who knows let's see if we can get some unofficial mirrors up. :phonecall:

If anyone gets or sees some unoffcial mirrios kindly post in this thread to help the others avoid the expected waiting period.

PDT I assume is Pacific Daylight Time which is 7 hours behind GMT so is 8 hours behind BST, so the RTW demo is out in Britain at 8 o'clock.

You should be able to get the demo from a games magazine; it will take a while before they put it on their demo discs but as RTW is a big name game it should get on fairly quickly. Slower than downloading but an option if no one in Canada will post a copy your way.
