I was playing against a guy named ????? well I forgot his name, but that's not important, what is more important is that my "allie" was a guy named T??? ~ We had a plan out on how we where gonna win, and when we start the battle, he attacks me, complete destroying me. ~ Then he blames me for attacking him, and worse the other guy believes him arrrrgggggg.
Sorry guys just had to let it go. ~:)

Yup, it can happen in tight quarters with an ally. An accidental double click on one of their units and the fight begins ~:argue:
Was fixed at some point, and to the best of knowledge is now impossible in MTW/VI 2.01 :medievalcheers:
Playing MP means that you get the human aspect built into the game, so there are times when a great friend swoops in to save your right flank just as it starts to crumble, and then there are those times when you get abandoned or, even worse, backstabbed.
Of course VI solved the problem of allies attacking each other, and it really is a big improvement.
However, here at The Org we prefer that people do not name others when bringing up these unfortunate incidents. Lonewarrior, do us all a favor and go back in and edit out the fellow's name please.

MTW v1.1 is full of problems. You not only have attacking allies but also the swipe, battlefield upgrades, unlimited camera for anyone using -ian, game cannot start if someone drops during deploy, drop before deploy for players who come from single player to multiplayer without a restart of the game and markedly unbalanced units such as lancers and Byz inf. Just the same, there is no sense in buying VI for multiplayer now because RTW will be out soon.
One way to avoid accidentally attacking an ally is to get in the habbit of using single click and ctrl R to make your unit run. You can remap that to a different key to make it easier. That way you don't accidentally click ok on that pop-up box. Of course, there is nothing you can do about your ally attacking you.
