Clans??

Excuse the newbieness of this comment- I have never much played TW online.

What are the uses of clans in TW games, and is there a real clan community?

Clans give those who want to play reguarly with good friends to play at what can be a higher tacticval level. This is best seen in the many Clan championships that go on. There are many clans in the totalwar community and you'll often see these people lurking about on the foyer. However, the split between Clan and so called "Ronin" players is around 50:50 during the peak time (evening GMT for me) which shows that in the run up to RTW many players have put their loyalties in one clan or another. ~:grouphug:
