How do I make a poll

I wanted to make a new poll but because this forum has changed I could not figure out how to do that.

I even went to Barnes and Nobles and bought the book Making a poll thread for dummies but still ca'nt figure out how to do it so please enlighten me

Click on 'post new thread' and then select 'post a poll with x options' (below the message text box).
