Is there an easy way to make my own historical battles and/or campaigns ?

I know this is possible (just as in HTW), but I haven't found any way to do so (well, I'm just a novice modder, so I didn't want to screw up the game by checking all files in MTW directory)

Starkhorn has made a very good quide on how to add new factions and making a new campaigns.

You can get it here:
http://www.excaliburclan.com/Addingnewfactionguide.pdf

You can allso try the Repository, lots of guides there.

That's not exactly what I wanted to know.
I was rather thinking about the historical battle/campaign like "Barbarossa", "Saladin", "The Golden Horde", etc. in the original game

Ok, I've found out that I can open some files from the batinit, historical campaign floders, but I'm a bit confused about all the things I found here, could anyone help me ? There are BDF and ADF files for each battle, plus BIF, HCS and TGA files related to a whole campaign.
I assume that BDF file describe the battle, and ADF are related to each faction that appears in the battle. I think BIF and TGA are the pics we can see in the historical battle menu, but I'm not 100% sure (I'll try to open those files).

Anyway, some help from our great modder would be much appreciated ~D
