it seems the general conclusion is that the battle and fighting is too fast paced, i certainly think so

however i think the reason for this is that we're playing on arcade style. just a hunch though, maybe some of the modders can confirm/deny this by looking at the relevant files?

Why would they release the arcade style game as the demo so all the people would get a bad impression?

As far as I remember "arcade" mode changes the morale and fatigue and ammo and that's it....

I've been fiddling around haven't seen anything about arcade style, or unit speed. Once I find anything, I will enform everyone, so we can try and get our soldiers off of Speed.

would be cool if they could just include two other speed settings. When normal is 100% it could be 70% and 50%

or just mod the unit speed for all units by -3 or something suitable

you mean that?

When your principes, all four regiment of them, are selected with the green arrows and that speed, do you know what it is? It feels like the mountain dwelers in LoTR 3 that is summoned to obey the last order. All milling around, so fast and greenish ~:p

Then disable the green arrows, it's an easy fix.

~:joker: Good one! At least they don't fly!
Edit: Monk, he meant that when you select the unit, it gets all green.

yeah, and you can disable that by editing it to FALSE, but my point still remains

yeah i noticed that to, when the camera is zoomed most of the way out whether green arrows are on or not the unit turns green (strange). But i still don't find it that much of a problem.

edit: anyway, i'm sure there will be a way to take that out when rtw is released. One can only hope i would say.

Edit 2: heh 80 people in the Colosseum. lot's of patrons ~D

Much too fast...it's faster even than mongol invasion, and that was too fast in mp. Unfortunatly it's not easy to modify the speed.

I thought they boosted the attack rates in Time Commanders but I was apparently wrong. The movement speed is fast but not too fast. The killing speed is really, really fast, however.

its too fast,... I recall them saying that it would be because of the larger maps...they did reduce the speed of MI at the request of the users, so it can be done.
