Wher to get files?

Hi guys,

Is there somewhere to get the files of MTW and VI, like unit sheets, tech-trees etc. that isn't that damn rubbish 3D Downloads crap?

3D Downloads sucks soo bad I'm suprised my lungs don't get sucked out when I visit their site. Time after time I wait for 30 minutes for a poxy 300k file only to get "page cannot be displayed". I hate them and would love somewhere else to get files from. I mean, what the hell am I paying for a 1600kpbs line for if I can't download a bloody tech tree?

NB. it's not my internet connection either. I have 1600kbps cable at home, I'm currently at work on a 2048kbps ADSL line and have tried other 2048kbps lines at other work sites. They all suck through 3D Downloads.


-edit- What I'm after is a full sheet of what buldings I need to build all of the troops for MTW with VI installed. I have nothing like the nice colour tech tree which came with MTW in VI.

I can't find it. I haven't played it in ages, not sure I even remember having a complete one. I got VI with the battle pack (Both MTW and VI) and I think I've now got 2 MTW trees and can't find my VI one. But even still, there isn't one that I know of that gives everything. When playing MTW with VI installed, but not playing the viking campaigns - playing the medieval ones, there are loads of extra units available which aren't on the MTW tech tree poster. For example, the unit guide says you can get berserkers in both MTW and in VI but I don't know what to build to get them :(

Will my VI poster fill in the gaps? - if so I'll look harder for it. (Is there a VI Poster?)

Is there a complete tech-tree for the updated MTW with VI? - if so where can I get it from?

The VI tech tree is a pdf file on the VI disk - not that easy to read and impossible to refer to when playing the game!

Thanks dude - I'll open it and print it. No wonder I couldn't find it ;)

Does anyone know of a complete tech tree with what units require what buildings (like the MTW poster) which covers the MTW with VI upgrade?

If you look into Froggy's beginner's guide in the guide section of the forum, you will find a link (and an alternate one) to Bushface and Froggy's MTW info pack, which contains accurate maps and tech tree's. Well accurate, there are a number of mistakes, mainly concerning units with unclear requirments (Turcopoles are listed as mercenary only, Jinnetes are listed as all-factions, and so on), but the pack is a more accurate than the tech tree that comes with the game.
