Right-Clicking

When I first played, I could control everything like in MTW, right-clicking and dragging to set formation etc. Then I was messing about with the preference file, and right-clicking just changes the camera view and I have to left-click to do everything (and no formations).

How do I fix this?! I feel stupid.

I did that too. I have no idea how to change formation depth with the mouse, but you can do it (crudely) with the "-" and "=" keys. I forget which does what. The bad thing is that you cannot see how the formation is being changed until after it is reformed.

Formations are there. ~:) The controls have changed slightly... Instead of pressing "5" to have your army form three lines with skirmishers leading, it is now "Shift-5". Although I haven't tested this fully, I believe you may have to group them first with "G", whereas before your troops would group automatically. But that's just a suspicion, and I can not confirm it just yet.

Edit: Okay, just tested it. Yeah, you have to group them first.

I think what they are talking about is what happens when you set classic controls to true, simply set it back to false and it should work...
