What is gmail?

google mail.

basically, you have an inbox of 1000mb, no limit on attachments (send/receive), google search engine to find the mail you are looking for, mails are in conversations and a lot more nifty stuff. It is in beta, that is why you need invites to the mail, and a lot of stuff are being added.

nah, relax. I'm a lazy typer myself.
I guess what I was really curious about was differences between it and Yahoo (besides the obvious ones, such as being able to use the Google engine to search through your emails).
Of course, you realize, this is another proof of my laziness: the proper way to compare them would be to wait until they're publicly available (or I get one somehow), and do it myself. But that would necessitate an effort on my side, wouldn't it ?
And besides, I was curious now ~:)

But seriously, it's okay. There's no hurry, and it's only a matter of curiosity for me; no need to advance your carpal tunnel syndrome over it ~:cheers:

Hey mate, I use aol for my regualr mail and they put so many mails in the spam folder that dont qualify as spam it is disturbing!! it was not blocked per se it was misdirected to my spam folder which I neglected to check or I would have found it sooner and not inquired of TK about an invite, sorry for the mishap no harm, and thanks for trying to get the invite to me, I hope you can send the invite to someone else...LOS

I just looked on Mapquest and realized that you're just west of Daytona and just north of Orlando. Is Paisley a large town? I don't ever having been there specifically.

It looks like this storm is going to move very slowly, we're probably looking at 24-30 hours of non-stop rain and Cat. 1 force winds (70-80 mph) The thing about it is that it'll be moving slowly so we're probably going to be looking at major flood problems if it hangs over the state for the amount of time that its being forecast.

They come automatically, in a little bar in the top area, it says how many you've got. They usually come in bands of five. Then you click the link and enter an email + name and send it, rather easy actually!
