When the server is down is it still possible to ply online?
If so can it be xplained here for all to see?

It is, but only if either the STW or the MI server is up.

One can use the fake server made by RSW which the staff is currently discussing. The problem is that it needs a host computer that can't host neither join games.

You can play on a LAN network, but thats probably not what you are looking for.

There was some discussion that Kali could support STW multiplayer over the net.
