Hi all im a newb here, been reading the forums for a while now, used to play STW kind of skipped Medival, im also a big baseball fan, and enjoy writing and Taekwondo.

Shouldnt've skipped MTW, missed a lot - better than STW in almost everyway - but essentially not very different. If you enjoyed STW, I can assure you, you would enjoy MTW.

Hi Ichiro and welcome. And what he said about MTW, it's great fun... not quite the atmosphere of Shogun but better in every other way.

Thanks for the welcome, i guess while im waiting for RTW i might get MTW, probably doesnt cost that much now, considering PC game prices drop after 2 weeks lol

I'd bet that would be a "probably" thing, most people who enjoyed STW will/did enjoy MTW.... unfortunately this MAY nto continue with RTW ~:(

If you do pick up MTW, get a battle pack with both MTW and the VI expansion. VI has some great tweaks to the interface, as well as a pretty cool campaign. And yeah, it's pretty cheap to get nowadays.

Yeah, get the battle pack. MTW is loads better with the VI game installed.
